Update from Sunday, October 21, 2012...

Hey everyone! Here is my last update from the 2012 Operating Season.  From here on out I will be bringing you "hopefully" many 2012-2013 off-season construction updates when time & weather permits.

As always, I hope you enjoy the View from Above !

---------------------------

Only one picture from the Safari this time, but more on the way once noticable construction begins to transpire

It looked like a nice size crowd for a gorgeous Fright Fest weekend...

...with lots and lots of cars in the lot

Looks like quite a line for Nitro

The bloody fountain came out great in these (2) photos

Lake reflections - OUCH

The Green Lantern was very popular today

-------------------------

And that's all folks.  I'll check-in once again during
the 2012-2013 off-season when there's more
in the way of construction to photograph !

Drive-Thru Safari at Six Flags Great Adventure on Sunday, August 26, 2012...

This latest BLOG entry highlights Six Flags Great Adventure's Wild Safari in its entirety, with public access slated to be eliminated on September 30, 2012.  What becomes of this area is anyone's guess for now, but Six Flags will make their announcement on Thursday, August 30, 2012, so stay tuned to their website for further details.

The photos are arranged beginning with some overall views showing the close proximity to the Theme Park.  Next the entrance plaza and Kingda Ka is shown, along with the Baboon area, which is near the exit of the Safari as well as the entrance plaza.  Continuing along takes us to many areas of animals such as Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Tigers, Bears and Kangaroos, among others.  Finally, we end the tour with more all encompassing views of this 350 acre Safari, showing just how vast this land of wild animals in Jackson, New Jersey really is.

As always, I hope you enjoy the View from Above...

Update from Sunday, June 10, 2012...

From high over the park at about 2,000 feet, the views were astounding, especially of the newest family thrill ride, Sky Screamer.  And I just happened to catch it when it's swings were spinning and rising towards the top.

Hurricane Harbor is also included in this update, with an ultra-crowded wave pool.

As always, I hope you enjoy the "View from Above"
